This is another away mission. At your base, begin producing lots of new units with Medium Cannons, Mini Rockets, and Lancer Missiles, all on Tracks with Cobra Bodies. Load six Medium Cannon Cobras and four Lancer Cobras onto the transport and take off. When you land at LZ 1, organize them into a single group and then send them toward LZ 2 on the eastern map edge. Ignore the Scavenger outpost near the first LZ. Your units cause a lot of damage as they roll past, but destroying it isn't in your orders.
You will run into a group of New Paradigm units along the way. Defeat it as quickly as possible because it'll probably block your route. Continue on down the ridges and head straight to LZ 2 as quickly as possible. Once you reach it, you receive new orders. Position your group near the small pass to defend LZ 2.

Bring in reinforcements. On the first load, bring a truck and nine heavy combat units such as those you brought at the beginning. Use these two groups to defend the LZ while the truck constructs a Repair Facility. Order all of your units to return for repairs at medium damage. On the next transport bring 10 more combat units and, on the final transport, bring a Sensor unit and Mortars.
While two of the groups form a defensive line, send the third and the Mortar groups to begin bombarding the Scavenger outpost to the north. It has a few defensive structures that the Mortars should have little trouble taking out. Next target the hardpoints and the walls west of the outpost.
With the walls down, you can send the combat and Mortar groups up on the ridge above the main enemy base. Take out the Rocket Towers first, then eliminate the Factories. Without the Factories, the enemy can't produce any new units. Now all you have to do is reduce the defensive structures still remaining. Send a fast unit into the base to recover the Artifacts so you can begin researching such technologies as the Light Bug Body, Mini Rocket Artillery, Composite Alloy, Mini Rocket Battery, and the Heavy Mortar. When all the structures are eliminated, you are ordered to return to LZ 2 to end the mission.
